3D Guidance Testimonials
Here are some recent comments from researchers using 3D Guidance trackers in their work.
University of Pennsylvania
“One of my NSF-funded research projects centers on using tactile feedback for guiding human arm movements in applications such as stroke rehabilitation and sports training; we use the Ascension trakSTAR to measure the user's arm motion in real time, and we love its accuracy, high sampling rate, and robustness to occlusion.”

“The sensors have worked well, as the best available tool within our price range. The smaller size has been an advantage compared to the original Flock.”

“We are using the medSAFE system to improve the high-resolution endoscopic medical probes that we design and build. We have combined the sensor with a prototype optical coherence tomography probe, which is designed to acquire intra-operative images of the human lower airway. The magnetic tracker will allow us to obtain more accurate scans of the airway, taking into account the way in which the airway bends and turns.”

“trakSTAR is so easy to use — compared to those of your competitors — that even a caveman could figure it out.”

“Our early tests have impressive results. Especially accuracy and filtering is so successful. In one or two days time, we will settle the transmitter to destination machine environment and will get more accurate samples from trakSTAR. After that, we can response to your question more accurately. Up to now, everything is great.”
